Completion of the 1447 AH Qurbani Meat Distribution Project

The Yemen International Agency for Development has concluded the implementation of the 1447 AH Qurbani Meat Distribution Project as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen seasonal humanitarian interventions and alleviate the living burdens of the most vulnerable families in Yemen.

The project distributed 1,868 Qurbani shares/slaughters, benefiting 9,340 families—approximately 56,040 individuals across several areas. The initiative aimed to bring joy to beneficiaries during Eid al-Adha and to help meet part of their essential food needs during this occasion.

This project is part of the agency’s humanitarian programs focused on supporting the most vulnerable groups, strengthening food security, and responding to urgent needs, particularly during religious occasions when the needs of low-income families increase.

It also reflects the agency’s commitment to sustaining its relief interventions in a way that contributes to reducing the suffering of affected communities and enhancing their resilience amid ongoing humanitarian challenges.

At the end of the season, the agency expressed its gratitude to all partners, contributors, and donors who helped ensure the success of the project and the delivery of assistance to its rightful beneficiaries, praying that their efforts be accepted and rewarded.
