Emergency Relief for the People of Yemen
Al-Malhan District in Al-Mahwit Governorate and several other Yemeni governorates have witnessed a major humanitarian disaster due to devastating floods that resulted in numerous deaths and widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure. These floods destroyed hundreds of houses and displaced dozens of families who found themselves homeless, in addition to severely damaging roads and essential services.

The Problem and Resulting Damages:
The overwhelming floods swept through large areas in Al-Malhan District and other Yemeni governorates, causing total destruction of homes and infrastructure. Hundreds of houses collapsed, many residents lost their livelihoods, dozens of people died, families were displaced, and essential services such as water and electricity were disrupted.

Our Planned Actions:
– Construct new homes for affected families.
– Provide suitable shelter materials for displaced families.
– Contribute to the rehabilitation of damaged homes.
– Deliver urgent medical assistance to those affected.
How Our Work Will Mitigate the Damage:
– Rebuilding homes to provide safe and sustainable shelter for affected families.
– Reducing the suffering of displaced families and providing them security.
– Contributing to restoring normal life by securing basic needs and urgent humanitarian support.
We invite everyone to participate in this campaign to support those affected by natural disasters in Al-Malhan District, as we work to rebuild their lives and homes and ensure a better future for families who have lost everything.
