Yemen International Agency for Development Distributes 800 Food Baskets to Support Breadwinner-Less Families and Teachers in Marib

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable groups, the Yemen International Agency for Development implemented a relief intervention by distributing 350 food baskets to breadwinner-less families in the City and Al-Wadi districts of Marib Governorate. This intervention aimed to ease the living burdens faced by these families amid difficult economic conditions.

The intervention comes in response to growing humanitarian needs and seeks to strengthen food security for the most vulnerable households. The distributed food baskets were carefully prepared to meet the basic needs of beneficiary families, contributing to an improvement in their living conditions, even if temporarily.

The humanitarian intervention also included teachers in Marib Governorate, as the Agency distributed 450 food baskets to teachers in support of their livelihood stability, in recognition of their vital role in sustaining the education process, and to help them cope with current economic and living challenges.

The Yemen International Agency for Development affirmed that these activities fall within its humanitarian programs aimed at alleviating the suffering of those in need and improving their daily living conditions, particularly in light of the exceptional circumstances facing the country, with a focus on the most affected groups.

The Agency continues to implement relief interventions in several governorates, in line with its humanitarian vision to support community stability, strengthen the resilience of families and teachers, and contribute to building communities that are more capable of withstanding crises.

This visit reaffirms the commitment of the Yemen International Agency for Development to building strategic relationships with various institutions and expanding areas of cooperation to achieve shared goals that serve the community and support its development.

Yemen International Agency for Development Continues Emergency Response Projects to Support Affected Families During Ramadan

The Yemen International Agency for Development continues to implement a series of emergency response projects during the holy month of Ramadan, as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support and assist vulnerable families across various regions of Yemen.

These interventions aim to alleviate the suffering of the most affected groups by providing food assistance and essential supplies to families living under difficult conditions due to the worsening humanitarian and economic crisis. This effort falls within the agency’s rapid response strategy, especially during exceptional times like Ramadan, when the needs of poor families increase and daily challenges intensify.

The project is supported by both local and international humanitarian partners, who play a crucial role in helping the agency reach as many beneficiaries as possible and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of aid to those in need.
