Bachelor’s Scholarships for Yemeni Students at Al-Bukhary University in Malaysia for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

The Yemen International Agency for Development has announced the opening of applications for undergraduate scholarships at Al-Bukhary University in Malaysia for the 2026–2027 academic year, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the education sector and expand access to quality higher education opportunities for Yemeni youth.

These scholarships are the result of a partnership between the Yemen International Agency for Development, Al-Bukhary University, and Insan Association Malaysia. The initiative aims to enable Yemeni high school graduates to pursue higher education in an international academic environment that enhances their academic and personal skills and prepares them to contribute effectively to the development of their communities.

The scholarship offers a wide range of academic programs that meet labor market demands and development needs, including Business Administration and its specializations, Economics, Social Development, Islamic Finance, Political Science and International Relations, Education, Media and Communication, Computer Science, Data Science, and Information Technology with a specialization in Cybersecurity.

The program provides several educational and living benefits for accepted students, including full tuition fee coverage throughout the bachelor’s degree program, free on-campus accommodation and meals, and study in a fully English-language international learning environment.

The agency has outlined a number of eligibility requirements, including obtaining a high school certificate with a minimum score of 75%, being under the age of 20 at the time of application, demonstrating a good command of English, and not being enrolled in any other university.

The Yemen International Agency for Development invited interested applicants to complete their applications and submit the required documents within the specified timeline. The application deadline is 30 May 2026, while the names of nominated students for university registration will be announced on 30 June 2026.

The agency emphasized that this initiative reflects its vision of investing in education as one of the most important pillars of sustainable development. It seeks to provide Yemeni youth with access to distinguished higher education opportunities that enhance their academic and professional capabilities and open broader horizons for their future.
