Funded by Kaaf Humanitarian, the Yemen International Agency for Development (YIAD) has inaugurated the Barhout School in Al-Sum District, Hadramout Governorate.
The school consists of five classrooms, an administration room, and two restrooms. It has the capacity to accommodate 400 students in two shifts.
This project comes as part of the Agency’s interventions in the education sector, and its commitment to sustainable projects that benefit future generations.

Researcher Osama Al-Khamisi defended his thesis at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. After an extensive discussion highlighting the key aspects of the thesis, the examination committee unanimously decided to approve the thesis, affirming the quality and significance of the research presented by the researcher.
It is worth noting that the researcher is one of the students of the Talented Students Program at Yemen International Agency for Development – Turkey, funded by the International Islamic Charity Organization – Kuwait.

As part of enhancing partnership, cooperation, and exchanging experiences, the President of the Yemen International Agency for Development – Turkey, received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “SEED” Foundation. During the visit, ways to enhance cooperation in the development of humanitarian institutions and partnership in implementing developmental projects in various fields were discussed.

As part of the ongoing efforts to empower and support talented individuals, the second batch of the Mawhubin Program in Yemen has organized a training course in personal and operational planning. This course is part of the program’s initiatives aimed at developing the capabilities of talented students and enabling them to successfully continue their higher education.

As part of its efforts to enhance development cooperation, a delegation from the Yemen International Agency for Development visited the Vefa Organization in Germany, where they met with the organization’s president, Musab Aydın.

During the meeting, both sides discussed partnership opportunities for implementing sustainable development projects that address community needs and support humanitarian efforts. They also explored ways to exchange expertise and collaborate on initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and creating a lasting positive impact.

This visit aligns with the agency’s ongoing efforts to expand international partnerships and contribute to achieving development goals in Yemen through effective collaborations that enhance humanitarian response and provide sustainable solutions for community support.

Yemen International Agency for Development held a closing session for students enrolled in the Tamkin English Language Learning Program. The session included a workshop to enhance the program, and students presented showcases demonstrating their linguistic abilities, competing for the title of the best speaker. Outstanding students in the program were also honored for the year 2023.

Under the supervision of the World Islamic Charitable Organization in Kuwait and with generous funding from the heirs of the Luluat Ahmed Albahar , the Yemen International Agency for Development inaugurated the Pearl of the Sea School in the governorate of Abyan.

This initiative is part of a continuous commitment to enhance the educational infrastructure and provide a stimulating learning environment for students. The school aims to deliver high-quality education and provide unique learning opportunities for the youth in the Abyan governorate.

Yemen International Agency for Development – Yemen concluded a program for building the capacities of local organizations, in which 25 organizations participated over three consecutive days. The program focused on developing the skills of executive and financial managers within these organizations, with an emphasis on humanitarian negotiation and risk management. Speakers underscored the importance of these initiatives in enhancing partnerships and improving the effectiveness of humanitarian organizations in the governorate. This program is part of YIAD’s interventions aimed at strengthening partnerships and providing training for local partners.

The president of Yemen International Agency for Development receives Mr. Mohamed Al-Hadi, Lead Fragility and Resilience Specialist, IsDB. Cooperation was affirmed to support economic and social development in Yemen, with discussions focusing on educational, economic, and humanitarian challenges in the country. Both parties emphasized collaborative efforts to enhance the quality of education, empower the community, and achieve effective results.

On Tuesday, the 12th of December 2023, the defense of the Master’s thesis titled “Political Reconciliation Between Muslims In Islamic Jurisprudence A Fundamental Study” took place at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. The thesis was presented by the researcher Ahmed Abu Salem.
After an extensive discussion, the prominent aspects of the thesis were highlighted, where the researcher provided a detailed analysis from a FIQH perspective. At the end of the session, the examination committee unanimously decided to approve the thesis, emphasizing the quality and significance of the research presented by the researcher.
It is worth mentioning that the researcher is one of the students in the Mawhubin Program for master’s student at Yemen International Agency for Development, funded by the International Islamic Charity Organization – Kuwait.
