The Yemeni International Development Agency Strengthens Its International Partnerships in Indonesia

As part of its efforts to expand areas of developmental cooperation, the President of the Yemeni International Development Agency, Dr. Abdurraqib Obad, met in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, with Dr. Yusuf Salimun, CEO of GPS Global Social Empowerment Company, and Mr. Misbah Rushdi, Chairman of the Rahmani Education Foundation – Depok.

The meetings discussed potential collaboration opportunities in the field of education, as well as in other areas such as economic empowerment, health, and sustainable development. During the discussions, Dr. Obad presented an overview of the key projects and programs implemented by the Agency in Yemen.

Dr. Obad emphasized that coordination of efforts and strengthening pathways for community development are fundamental pillars for improving the lives of the most vulnerable groups, reaffirming the Agency’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with international institutions in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
